linocut

Went back home today and finally got to see my main birthday present which got delivered a few weeks ago ( a very belated present seeing as my birthday was in June) This is a linocut I picked from the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (on 8th June) it's by an artist called Wayne Robinson who does lots of lovely linocuts woodcuts and monoprints, drawing inspiration from relationships in his family.

Florence

I volunteer at an old persons care home every wednesday in the pottery room. The residents do some amazing work and really engage with working with the clay. This is Florence who loves painting pots.

first two made from mount board, the second out of cartridge paper, image photocopied onto thick tracing paper. I think for my final boxes il use mountboard, and the face will fit in the frame, like a portrait. Should turn out alright

LLF

Im still a massive fan of disposable cameras. These pictures are from a camera i'd been carrying around since january- this is from my trip to Istanbul in early feb. It was so dark, and this was the first rays of sunshine (rather, sunset) I had seen all day, after a day where it poured down non stop and I was extremely grumpy and miserable.
I just got them developed today, and it was such a surprise seeing these beauts. Id forgotton these
Long live film.
